(September 5, 2023 - Hour One)

9:14pm - After a month (or 2) away from the show, Malcom Reed makes his triumphant return tonight. While many of you will probably want to jump off a cliff for the first part of the segment, I am going to ask him his thoughts on the current state of affairs with this whole Memphis In May festival and how he sees it playing out next year and for years beyond! Maybe, just maybe, it moves to Hernando, MS and becomes "Malcom In May"...stranger things have happened!

9:35pm - After Malcom, I will be joined by the creator of Another Pint Please and a quarterly contributor, Mike Lang! Mike and I will rejoin forces later this month down in Hartville, Ohio for the 2023 Grillfest. If you are in the area, you should plan on attending this event. Lot's of great food, people and deals on all things bbq and grilling. Mike and I will hype the event a bit, we will talk about some tailgate recipes and we will get his ongoing update of getting a content creation studio put up in his girlfriend's pole barn.

10:14 - Another first Tuesday of the month in the 2nd hour brings another visit from our pal, Sam The Cooking Guy. We have one segment with Sam tonight and we will discuss things like towels, microphones, beef tallow, porterhouse steaks, flat top griddles and wireless thermometers...or we will talk about none of that...who knows!!

10:35pm - The bullpen segment tonight AGAIN belongs to a guy who is looking to become "The Nike of BBQ". What does that even mean? We will welcome first time guest Charlie Eblen from Single Tree BBQ and learn all about his mission. Charlie is also promoting an event he is putting on soon that will benefit local veterans in his area. Yes, we tried this last week and it failed but we reload tonight and nothing can stop us now...right??
