Baltimore Riots - Apr 30, 2015

April 30, 2015

Here it finally is: a podcast. What got us in gear? The unfair media coverage of desperate Americans clawing for equality. In this, the unofficial re-launch of our website’s flagship content, Will and Bryan get on their soap boxes about the riots and all the peripheral topics that come with, including Will’s extensive personal experience as an activist and protester on the streets of cities across America.

If “unfair media coverage” seems like old hat to you on this story, well that’s because you’re young and you get your news from the Internet, where by now all the nuance of the Baltimore Riots has begun to bubble up to the surface. Make no mistake about the scene that the majority of Americans think is going on right now however. Television news still won’t tell its audience anything more than the most sensational aspects of any story. The majority of Americans still don’t know what the hell is really going on, because they get their news from TV.

This is a super sized podcast. Generally the episodes are less than 25 minutes, and also of a lighter tone. Every now and again, one or two of the unqualified buffoons at this site has a soapbox to get on; hence the name of this site. Enjoy, and please, throw out your cable box. #TVisdead
