Art shares some music from a recording he made with his friend Al Murphy for Meadowlands Records in 1972. While working his first teaching job at Iowa State University, a colleague let Art know about a great old-time fiddler coming back from Vietnam named Al. Having learned from his Uncle Leo in Iowa, Al became a master of the old-time style and continues to perform sporadically as of this recording in November 2014. The duo would go on to play a handful of shows around Iowa City and New York City after recording this LP.
