Precious Bryant Memorial - Part 1
Art celebrates the life of Georgias own blues great Precious Bryant. Born in Talbot county in 1942, Bryant learned music at an early age starting on ukulele at age four until her father gave her a Silvertone from Sears and Roebuck at age 10. In 1967, she was first recorded by the legendary George Mitchell who called her a treasure. Although she did not record a full album until age 59, her music was heard by almost all of Talbot county as she played out as often as possible. Precious passed away at age 71 on January 12, 2013.
