IATA Annual General Meeting
Friend of the show, and aerospace journalist, Seth Miller joins us once again to fill us in on what happened this week at the International Air Transport Association Annual General Meeting. We get an overview of IATA’s vision for net zero carbon emissions, comments from IATA Director General Willie Walsh, and some bare truth from Emirates president Tim Clark.
Vaccine mandates multiply
Canada becomes the latest country to issue a vaccine mandate for travel and airlines are issuing mandates of their own. We see who has added requirements in the past week.
ITA makes a splash
Even before officially beginning operations, Italy’s ITA has placed a sizeable order for new Airbus aircraft.
British Airways brings back the A380s earlier than planned
Thanks to the pending relaxation of US travel rules, British Airways is planning to return its A380s to service beginning in November. First stops will be Los Angeles, Miami, and Dubai.
