This weekend is Imbolc. Even though winter is still in full voice, we celebrate the very first hints of spring — maybe crocuses are starting to poke their little heads up; maybe we’ll see animals preparing nests for new births. In the second hour, rather than a live set this week, you’ll hear highlights from Saving Cecil’s Pride, an album that we produced ten years ago after Cecil the Lion was shot by a trophy hunter in Africa. Proceeds from sales of this album are still directed to Big Life Foundation, a conservation group that works in Kenya and Tanzania to protect elephants, lions, rhinos, and other wildlife from poachers and trophy hunters.
