Attempting Relevance

Attempting Relevance

9 Days Old and a Week Too Late

September 24, 2015

Hey kids, we’re a week behind on the podcasts. Mainly because writing/producing/performing your own stage variety show got in the way for one week and then to add insult to injury Josh decided to open up his big fucking mouth and mention someone’s name we happened to be talking about in a disparaging manner. So as topical as our podcast is it won’t be on point this week or quite possibly the next. But hey, at least you get to experience the episode that almost, very nearly, wasn’t going to be released due to Jesse getting upset at Roger and Charlie who kept interrupting him during his fish story. It gets acca-awkward real quick. Originally the episode was to be titled "Failing at Relevance" but I thought the retitle fit best.
In this episode we discuss the exciting news of our brand spanking new website and subsequent shit talking due to Roger’s mistake of buying the wrong spelling. It’s Relevance not Relavance. But who hasn’t been so sure of something and turned out to be absolutely wrong?
I have to say, this one was rather highbrow for us. We discuss Trump (Cause why wouldn’t we?!) and his presidential run and replacement by an immigrant on Celebrity Apprentice. Damn illegals taking out jobs! (That is said in jest, by the way.) Which then leads us to discuss the reality of how illegal immigration fell 57%. Let that soak-in for a moment. The pandering that goes on during political debates about the topic is moot when you realize it is not even a reality. Just goes to show if you play to the audience they’ll like you more and what do Republicans like less than fags? Illegals taking their low paying menial jobs they feel they are much too privileged to do.
The thing I find the most fascinating during our little hour show, is that it gets high jacked by two inebriated gentlemen who then discuss politics at length. Charlie even gets Roger to change his mind, which was beautiful to witness, I must say. How many people can say they saw someone sway their political stance in a conversation?
Stayed tune for the next (this week’s) episode where we have our one and only listener on as a guest.
