Energy Sensations

Yesterday evening I went to my yoga class, on Wednesdays we do breathing, chants, and Yoga Nidra. While doing Yoga Nidra I felt energy sensations which were very pleasant. In the early hours of this morning I was, I suppose, dreaming that I was asleep in my old bedroom in England. I say I suppose as this often happens to me, being aware that I am asleep in my old bedroom.



Houses I feel are very significant in dreams and OBEs often symbolically so. I have come to believe that my house in England represents a place where all of me can be reached, like a kind of portal. I was dragged down through a hole in the wall once to face a big cloud of negative energy so another life could be healed. I also find myself in other houses all have different feelings.



Anyway, I am mind awake body asleep in my old bedroom in England and I feel the same energy sensations as the evening before at yoga. Immediately I recognise them as the precursor to an OBE, and I get up out of my body, one of my sisters is there and I tell her I’m out-of-body and just off to fly round the garden. My mum is there too, but downstairs, the house is sort of transparent and I can see her and I tell her I’m off into the garden. I feel my mum and sister could represent parts of me.



My sister opens the window for me, even though I could have flown through it. I fly into the garden it feels so good as it has been a few weeks since I was out flying. I climb over the fence into a neighbours garden as I want to try a new direction. Ahead of me is a grassy pathway, it is very green and I follow it flying low. I try to focus my mind and use it to draw the the horizon to me rather than fly across the countryside. It takes a lot of effort.



After this things get a bit blurry, there is more but I only remember snippets so it doesn’t really make sense.



It was so good being out again, what really woke me up was recognising the energy sensations, they triggered my mind into action. So I would say that although meditation and other similar activities are not necessary to having successful OBEs they can indeed help.
