If finding a mentor is something that is on the top of your mind or something you're still looking to do, we have a free guide for you on how to find a mentor and, most importantly, how to reach out to them.
Visit here for more information.
Today, I am joined on the podcast by my friend, Carl Coward. This one is such a meaningful episode for me as Carl is a family friend. He is somebody that, when I lived out in LA, was one of the only people that kept me sane because he is just such a realist. Carl is such a hungry dreamer, and at the same time, such a unique innovator and also one of the best conversationalists I've ever had the pleasure of meeting in my life. I hope you guys enjoy this one as much as I did.
Topics discussed with Carl:
- How starting with respect and ending with respect built Carl's understanding of hierarchy
- Seeing life as a never-ending journey of crossroads and how Carl met his mentor this way
- Encouraging people from the upper echelon academic institutions that their education is not enough and how you need to be different
- Were Carl's career goals of his own or only what he thought they were supposed to be
