Breaking It Down: Will’s Weekend Preview
Will Ojanen @WillsWorldMN -
It's time for another weekend preview but this time there's more on the table. In addition to my takes on this weekend's ACC basketball matchups I'll take a look at the just released ACC football schedule. I'll be breaking it down by divisions and looking at where I think teams have their best shot at winning. Then it's on to conference hoops.
The big question is, can anyone stand in the way of Clemson next year? The answer may be as simple as this. Only the Tigers can. That doesn't mean they're invincible but taking a look at their schedule speaks for itself.
Speaking of team schedules there are a number of ACC squads that will be facing a tough season. Who are they and where are the challenges, like land mines, scattered?
Breaking It Down
You'll notice the terms, 'Big Challenges' and 'Manageable' used quite a bit in my rundown of football. There's no easy rides for teams in the 2020 season. It's still early but there are some question marks hovering over staffs and players. Spring practice and scrimmage games are not that far off and we'll get a better picture of each team then.
ACC Basketball
What's going on in the conference this weekend? Some nice matchups and a few that are just plain hard to pick. This isn't your father's ACC, that's for sure.

A quick reminder that time is running out for teams as the end of January approaches. There's one extra day in February, as it's a Leap Year. Nonetheless, it's still a short month with the ACC Basketball Tournament looming large March 10-14 in Greensboro.
