Laurel Walther, BS MSIMC

Laurel Walther has over 20 years of experience working for a variety of health and life science companies. She has held leadership positions with large, global health care companies as well as local, non-profit organizations. These roles include working as a Community Health Educator and Nutritionist, a Professional Relations Director for a start-up Behavioral Health System and a Community Outreach and Resource Coordinator. Laurel has earned a BS in Family and Consumer Sciences, Nutrition and Dietetics from Western Illinois University and received a Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL in 2008. Laurel is President and Owner of WeLM (We Love Marketing), Inc. where she provides strategic marketing and consulting services to both companies and individuals. Throughout her career, Laurel has remained passionate about providing groups and individuals with health education and guiding them to achieve and exceed their personal and professional goals. She has recently been trained, and is becoming certified, as an Integrative Health Coach through the Integrative Health Coach Professional Training Program at Duke Integrative Medicine. With this training, her knowledge in nutrition and her experience in providing health care education and marketing consulting services, Laurel has now started Lionsmane Coaching in Cary, NC. Through Lionsmane Coaching Laurel helps clients achieve a higher level of health and wellness by working with them to identify personalized and actionable long-term lifestyle changes.
