About 12.1% of women in the United States ages 15-44 have difficulty getting pregnant or staying pregnant, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), that's around 7.5 million. However, men are as likely to be sterile as women are.
Surviving Infertility Treatments
Karen Jeffries's book Hilariously Infertile is an honest look at the struggles many couples face. Although there was a lot of pain, Karen uses humor to keep from being overwhelmed by stress. She uses what she learned on her journey to help others.

Karen found that during this process many other people around her had also gone through similar struggles in silence. At this point, she felt like it was something that more people need to speak up about so that others wouldn't feel so alone.

She sat down one day to write out her story and found that it was pretty hilarious! Listen to this podcast episode to hear more about what she went through and how she used humor to get through the tough times AND help others.
