9th Story: Episode 24

May 07, 2014

For episode 24, we had something really, really special planned. Unfortunately, our guest of honor got his signals crossed and we had to reschedule.

Dan and Craig were left to tend to the crickets. Not Jiminy Cricket. Not Buddy Holly’s Crickets. Real, bothersome crickets.

Faced with adversity, your daring hosts decided to pay homage to Seinfeld and they did a show about nothing. That’s right. Nothing.

Being and Nothingness: Despite the “nothing” there is always something…thus, Dan and Craig forged on and created almost forty minutes of pure gold, Jerry! Gold! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CF7OnW4XDck

The Taste Buds of The Mind’s Eye – Can you guess the flavor of Craig’s gum by using your mind’s tongue? Can you? Try it!

Dammit, Chloe! – We honor the return of the classic Fox program “24” and, once again, Craig tries to articulate when binge viewing works, when it doesn't, etc. And, then he tortures Jack Bauer…simply because Jack has to get tortured every hour. (There was a spare car battery and a running hose lying around the studio, so we said “Let’s see if Jack will talk now!”)

It’s All About The Washingtons – We hatch an elaborate Ponzi scheme through which we will fleece our fans one dollar at a time. Of course, by the time our plan is launched, our nemesis (Gene Simmons) will have already launched a counter-plan to ensure that KISS gets the money first.

Have you seen my Tractor? - Brown Chicken, Brown Cow. 'Nuff Said.

The Witches of Brentwood – Dan regales us with the story about how Laurie Towers, our favorite witch, came to his abode to bless the house, drop off a few crystals (none of which are shaped like skulls – to Craig’s chagrin) and rid the studio walls of the “stains of impropriety”

The Dope Show – Was President Clinton telling the truth? Did he inhale? If he didn’t, doesn’t that make him a bigger ass-hat? Why? Because he robbed his buddies from enjoying some choice bud. We also ponder how many cartoon characters were either stoned or, created by people who were.

It’s Like a Jeep – We bring it full circle by referencing Elaine Benes’ keen insight on the differences between the male and female body. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9v8hcAezkk
