Greg Wilpert, German activist and founder of Venezuelanalysis.com, joins host Tony Castañeda to discuss recent events in Venezuela and beyond.  Trump’s abduction of the Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro, and his proclamation that the US will take over management of the country’s oil production is unpopular with normal Venezuelans in the country which runs counter to the spin coming from Washington.  Election fraud and drug running are the two main reasons the Trump administration is highlighting for their illegal takeover, both of which are unproven.  The impacts of this oil grab will be felt well beyond Venezuela. The people of Cuba for example will be faced with the dire consequences of their energy lifeline being cut off.  Once again, average citizens will feel the hardest impacts of wars between elites.
