Mike de La Rocha, author and activist, talks with Tony Castañeda about his new book, Sacred Lessons, Teaching My Father to Love, which deals with the processing of grief in light of the loss of a loved one.  The author, like many men, struggles with the realization that his father was unable to have an honest and vulnerable connection with his sons.  Mike is also the creative force behind Involve Impact, a Los Angelos based, globally recognized creative agency that merges art, activism, and storytelling to drive social change.  Mike will be reading from his book this evening, July 10, at Mystery to Me, 1863 Monroe Street, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
