According to reports, Israel has killed over 40,000 and injured more than 100,000 Palestinians in the last fourteen months of retribution, with many of the dead and injured being non-military men, women, and children. Shafiq Kassees from Students for a Free Palestine talks about that group’s efforts to get the U-W to divest from investments in companies which support Israel, similar to actions take against South Africa to eliminate apartheid.
