The Center for Media and Democracy has been tracking efforts of the far-right to force a new constitutional convention, a full or partial re-write of the constitution, as allowed for by Article V of the constitution. CMD’s Executive Director, Arn Pearson, talks about the process and the possibilities, known and unknown, of the can of worms that could result. Pearson suggests that this is an effort of the right to cement minority white rule over the U.S. for decades or centuries.
