Cassie Watson Francillon & Bryan Webre of Shakespeare and The Blues join the podcast today from New Orleans.  We recorded just a few days after Hurricane Ida impacted the area. So our connection was not the clearest. But it’s a fun talk and I think it provided a little distraction in all the post Ida chaos. In the band, Bryan plays bass and handles electronics and Cassie plays the harp.  It sounds like an odd mix but it really works. It’s an interesting discussion about how Cassie discovered a love for the harp, how Bryan got a late start with the bass, and how all three members of Shakespeare and The Blues met and started playing together.
