Performance Anxiety
Donna Jean Godchaux (Grateful Dead)
I’m so pleased to release this episode! I have such a great guest in Donna Jean Godchaux, but I’m also joined by my good friend and former podcast co-host, Tommy Caprio. Donna Jean has been a part of some legendary recordings, like Percy Sledge’s When A Man Loves A Woman and Elvis’ 1968 Comeback special. But that was all before moving to California. She moved just to have an adventure, music wasn’t the reason. Then she saw the Grateful Dead. She and her husband Keith joined the band and toured the world with the Dead from 1972-1979. She’s been doing her own music ever since, including a new remix of the song Shelter by Donna Jean & The Tricksters. I want to thank Donna Jean for joining me and Tommy for lending his Grateful Dead knowledge to the show. Check out the remix wherever you get music. Check out Tommy’s podcasts, The Unsolicited & I’m Walking Here. Follow us @PerformanceAnx. Coffee is accepted at ko-fi.com/performanceanxiety. Merch is at performanceanx.threadless.com. Review the show. It helps more people find it. Now join me and Tommy Caprio as we chat with Donna Jean Godchaux on Performance Anxiety on the Pantheon Podcast Network.
