It’s not everyday that an artist comes out of the blue to make me pause. Derek Day did exactly that. He started out playing on the street in Santa Monica doing over 70 different cover songs. Now he’s writing and recording with artists like Vernon Reid and opening for Living Colour, Ted Nugent, & Steve Vai. He has so much energy on stage and in everyday life.
