Performance Anxiety

Albert Bouchard (Blue Oyster Cult)

November 24, 2020

Welcome Blue Oyster Cult drummer Albert Bouchard to the show. He gives a great history lesson about the band, including the gig that was so bad they had to change their name. He’s happy to talk (again) about the classic SNL cowbell skit and how he turned off the show just before it aired. He also taught for years and has had some very talented students you might recognize.
He has re-recorded the BOC album Imaginos as Re Imaginos. Albert tells me the convoluted story of the original release and why he decided to finally redo it. Pick up the album because it’s now the way it was originally intended to be. Follow Albert on social media & YouTube. Follow us @PerformanceAnx on social media. If you enjoy this, consider getting us a cup of coffee at ko-fi.com/performanceanxiety.com. There’s no commitment. And let’s get right into the show before there’s a siege and investiture of the Performance Anxiety Podcast.
