December 5, 2013: A new documentary called Pain Matters, which premiered on the Discovery Channel November 16, and will re-air December 7 and 14, attempts to bring chronic pain out of the shadows – discussing the issue with health care experts and profiling several individuals who have battled chronic pain.

This episode of Move Forward Radio features three people interviewed in the Pain Matters program: Dr. Melanie Rosenblatt, American Chronic Pain Association CEO Penney Cowan, and Iraq war veteran Derek McGinnis. Also featured is physical therapist John Garzione, PT, DPT, who discusses physical therapy treatment for chronic pain.
