January 7, 2016: As a teenager in Taiwan, basketball was Jonathan’s identity. His athletic ability made him a team leader, and the team’s championship goals gave him purpose. He knew his role and his value. 

A knee injury changed all of that for Jonathan, but ultimately, for the better.
