Just days after the next gen console dates were revealed pre-orders went live. Xbox sold out both Series X and Series S allotments in less than 15 minutes, while Sony tried to pull a sneaky on everyone. The mad dash for the new Xboxes caused every website involved to crash in one way or another, including Microsoft's own website. Sony issued an apology for the sloppiness of pre-orders and says they will do better in the near future. Xbox isn't content focusing solely on the next gen console as they shocked the entire industry with their acquisition of ZeniMax Media.
