Curry Café: Pride Month – LGBTQ+ Issues
This week’s Curry Café focused on Pride Month celebrations and LGBTQ+ issues. We are honored to have two insightful guests from the gay community, Bret Cecil and Troy Lea. Bret is the chair of the Curry County Democrats and a candidate for State Representative for Oregon House of Representatives District 1. Troy, from Crescent City, California, played a key role in organizing the city’s first Pride Parade and is actively involved in theater and performance art. The episode is produced and hosted by Ray Gary, who also produces and hosts two music shows on KCIW. Rick McNamer, a volunteer and board member of KCIW, also contributed to the discussion.
We encourage anyone with differing views to participate in future Curry Café discussions. If you’re interested in joining the panel, email contact@kciw.org or call 541-661-4098.
