Catch Me If You Can’t – The April Tinsley Murder S1 E17 Moms Murders & Mysteries – The horrifying, 1988 murder of an 8 year old child goes Cold and Unsolved until 2018 when there is a breakthrough in the case-this is the story of that breakthrough!
Our story begins the Friday before Easter April 1st 1988, Good Friday, in Fort Wayne Indiana. A quiet little community where children played in the streets after school and on weekends. 8 year old April Marie Tinsley was one of those children, a blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl full of life. April lived on East Pontiac Street and was playing outside with friends. As the 3 friends were moving from one friend’s home to another’s the 1st grader realized she had left her umbrella behind and went back to get it. This is where things go wrong as little April Tinsley would never be seen alive again.
