In this edition of Trucking Tributes hosted by Susan Patten, Wreaths Across America honors professional driver and Air National Guard veteran Chris Drew of Minuteman Security and Life Safety. Chris shares his story of service, family, and purpose as part of the Wreaths Across America Honor Fleet.

From his early years in the Maine Air National Guard to transporting veterans’ wreaths alongside his son Aidan, Chris reflects on the powerful unity and emotion behind the annual mission to remember, honor, and teach. His company, Minuteman Security, a veteran-focused organization based in Andover, Massachusetts, made it possible for him to participate using a 16-foot construction trailer—proving that every effort, big or small, makes an impact.

Wreaths Across America’s 2024 effort included 800 truckloads of wreaths, moved by over 390 carriers and partners, to 4,909 participating locations nationwide. Thanks to drivers like Chris and Aidan, millions of veterans are remembered each December through this heartfelt mission.
