Should Truckers Be Tested on English? OOIDA’s Collin Long Responds

This week on Washington Trucking Week, Jimmy Mac sits down with Collin Long, Director of Government Affairs at OOIDA, to discuss one of the most talked-about trucking bills in D.C.—The Commercial Motor Vehicle English Proficiency Act, introduced by Senator Roger Marshall.


The bill would require all CDL applicants to pass an English proficiency test before getting licensed and would prohibit CDL exams from being administered in any language other than English.
