The Holy City Zoo brought an astonishingly large number of internationally famous comedians to the world, (Robin WIlliams, Paula Poundstone, Bobcat Goldthwait....the list goes on and on). Debi helped nurture the careers of these comedians because she is one of the funniest women alive. As co-owner of the Zoo, she and her husband, American Satirist Will Durst, gave an outlet to some of the brightest minds. They also started San Francisco Comedy Day, a celebration of live comedy, in Golden Gate Park. This year, it is on September 14th at Robin Williams Meadow, (that the Dursts had named in his honor).
