Title: 8 Things Your Doctor Does Not Tell You If You Have Macular Degeneration, Stargardt or Retinitis Pigmentosa

The first of an eight-part series on degenerative eye disease. If you have, or know someone close to you, that has been diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease, things like macular degeneration, stargardt disease (which is basically just the juvenile form of macular degeneration), or retinitis pigmentosa, then this will be of interest.

These are diseases that are now the major causes of blindness in people over 65 (other than Stargardt disease). In over 40 years in our practice, we have found ways to work with these diseases, to deal with and even reverse the vision loss that those diseases cause. And that's really what we're here to talk about. It's not something you'll hear about from your board-certified ophthalmologist. They won't tell you about it even if they know about it.
