Can the team sabotage a new doctor before they even start? This week on the podcast, Dr. Andy Roark and Stephanie Goss are tackling a letter from the mailbag. A medical director colleague wrote in and shared with the team that they have a doctor coming onboard that has worked previously as a tech in their hospital. Should be a major win, right?? Our medical director says hold your excitement because only now that our new vet has been hired is our Medical Director being informed that the team does not like the new vet. The team says they have a bad attitude; techs have said the vet has had rough handling of patients... but none of this was noted by our Medical Director when the new doctor was a tech, and none of these things have been addressed with the new hire doctor during their previous employment. Sounds like a management headache worth talking through. This is a lively one, let’s get into this…
