We received an email from a practice owner who is frustrated with a member of their team who always seems to have an excuse for their mistakes or breaking protocols. They asked Andy and Stephanie: “How do I help them self-reflect a little better and to take ownership of things rather than blame it on something or someone else?” Get ready for some serious discussion on how clear is kind. We will also cover the basics of how people are motivated when it comes to accountability. Ultimately, Andy and Stephanie agree that you can’t fix anyone, they have to fix themselves. We talk about the key to understanding what might motivate them to fix themselves and how to leverage that to create an environment that supports accountability. Let’s get into this...
