Finding assurance in salvation begins with resting on the foundation of Christ’s finished work—His perfect righteousness, advocacy, and propitiation for our sins. Our confession about Jesus as both God and man strengthens this assurance, forming the framework of our faith. Growing obedience to Jesus, while imperfect, demonstrates the direction of our hearts toward Him. Finally, genuine love for fellow Christians serves as tangible evidence of our place in God’s family. God desires us to have confidence in our salvation, not based on our perfection but on Christ’s work and the Spirit’s transformation within us.
