Facing Evil: A Cop's Story or Murder, Mayhem and the Aftermath
Episode Five: Consequences and Carnage
CONTENT ADVISORY: This podcast contains intense recreations of violent criminal behavior that may trigger those who have had previous trauma and disturb those that have not. Strong and offensive language is used throughout the podcast as well. Listener discretion is advised.
As the day of October 24, 2014, wore on, people all over the region were affected by the carnage and violence the two thugs had caused. Sacramento and Placer County deputies, police officers, and highway patrolmen, reeling from the loss of brothers in blue, searched the region for the fugitives.
Meanwhile, Deputy Scott Brown is asked to walk through the events that morning at the Motel 6. That was the day he realized that sometimes a police officer can do everything tactically correct and still be faced with a negative result.
We encourage listeners to also read the book, Facing Evil: A Cop’s Story of Murder, Mayhem, and the Aftermath, which can be found on Amazon.
