In this episode, Natalia Aíza, founder of Kairos Wellness Collective, interviews Thea Wessel, LPC, LAC, on the intersection of OCD and addiction.

Thea Wessel is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor

(LAC) in Colorado and an LPC and CADC III in Oregon. She is also Nationally certified

through NAADAC as a Master Addictions Counselor (MAC) and National Certified Adolescent

Addictions Counselor (NCAAC). Additional credentials are as an Acupuncture Detoxification

Specialist (ADS), Reiki Master, Cherokee Body Work III, and Holographic Sound Healing. She is currently a Ph.D. Candidate at The California Institute of Integral Studies.

Thea attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for undergraduate studies and obtained a

master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver in the Graduate School of Professional Psychology. For the last fifteen years, Thea has provided mental health and substance use treatment services for individuals in multiple systems. In 2015, she started her private practice in the community called Nspire Today.
