Steve Mack is a 4th generation pawnbroker whose entrepreneurial journey began in 1967 at his parent’s single pawnshop in Reno, Nevada. After graduating Arizona State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/MIS, Mr. Mack expanded the family business from the one pawnshop in Reno to 45 pawnshops located in Nevada, Arizona, Washington, and California to become the largest privately held pawnshop company on the West Coast. Mr. Mack sold his pawnshop business in 2004 to Cash America International, Inc. Mr. Mack is now the founder of Bravo Store Systems, LLC, the first all-in-one software provider for specialty retailers including pawnshops, gun stores, buy/sell stores and secondhand retailers. In 2000, Mr. Mack attended Harvard Business School to earn an OPM24 degree. From May 2013 to January 2017, Mr. Mack was one of the owners of the Triple AAA Minor League Baseball Team, the Las Vegas 51s, now known as the Las Vegas Aviators. He has served on various non-profit boards as well as the Wells Fargo Bank Community Board for six years. Mr. Mack was also a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council on Education Relating to the Holocaust for the State of Nevada (2015-2023). He continues his philanthropic work through his Foundation and spends his time in San Diego and Las Vegas.
