Guests Scott Miller and Goud Maragani joined me to discuss widespread abuse and corruption in the HOA Management industry. Over half a million residents are in HOAs, and 80% of new housing is in HOAs. There is no regulation of HOA, but a bill providing for an ombudsman would help. In the near term however, residents should attend HOA meetings, voice their concerns, lobby fellow residents, and get elected to the HOA Board where they can directly influence HOA policy in their communities.
