Ranch life vignette: Churning cream into butter by hand takes time and arm strength, but results in delightfully tasty, creamy-white butter that you can use right away, or freeze for later use.

Constitutional Concept: Our rights come from God--not from government.

SecureVote.News: Flashback "Toward Disaster; Utah's Election Trajectory," evidence that the political class wants to move us away from in-person precinct voting, and embrace mail-in voting en route to Internet voting. The J6 Committee withheld testimony that Trump authorized 10,000 troops for Capitol Security, but Pelosi refused the help.

Constitutional scholar Dan Cummings and I discussed prison welfare, and the concept of paying one's debt to society. Some of our prisons are so comfortable that inmates will commit a crime just to get back into jail where they are assured of food, clothing, housing, and even recreation. The cost to the taxpayers (as of several years ago) is $70,000 annually. Inmates rarely pay back this debt, so really never pay their debt to society. Dan is okay with an inmate regaining his right to vote IF (and AFTER) he truly repays his debt to society.
