From starting his career in real estate in 1994, Don has gone through the journey of being the top salesperson in his company, becoming a franchise owner and ultimately a multi-region owner. Don has personally sold well over billions of dollars of real estate in his career. He leads a company which saw a 60% growth in sales for 2021, growing the network by more than 70% and for the first time ever, transacting over $1.2Billion in sales turnover.
 
The Don Ha story gives insight into the inspiring man with a powerful creative mind. As a Vietnamese/Chinese refugee child, Don, with his family, escaped war-torn Vietnam and arrived in New Zealand.

He grew up in South Auckland, was educated at Aorere College, and joined his father’s bakery on leaving school. However, he decided wearing a suit was far more inviting than baking bread. At 17, he decided he would make the NBR Rich List by the time he was 40. True to his word, he did! He made his first million at 27.

Then came the global financial crisis of 2012. No longer was Don the NBR $60 million rich-lister but his mind, however, remained focussed. With truly remarkable spirit, he continued selling property, was a sales trainer and mentor, and founded Top One Real Estate Limited, trading as Don Ha Real Estate.

He later went on to forming RE/MAX Revolution where he went on to complete projects in Australia and New Zealand, advising developers from inception stage to project completion.
