The SoCon Report Podcast

Faith, Family, and Fighting Cancer, with Rep. Ryan Rose
Arkansas Representative Ryan Rose, one of our Family Policy Foundation Statesmen Academy graduates, and his wife, Tiffany, never expected to face two rounds of cancer. But through chemotherapy, surgery, and remission, they discovered a calling to make sure no woman faces unnecessary barriers to breast cancer care.
Their journey led to Arkansas House Bill 1309, signed by Governor Sarah Sanders earlier this year, which removes cost barriers to mammograms and screenings for women across the state.
In this week’s SoCon Report podcast, Craig talks with Rep. Rose about how faith turned their family’s hardship into hope for others. You’ll be encouraged by their courage, their love, and their belief that God can bring purpose out of pain. They discuss:
- How the Roses’ personal battle with breast cancer became a mission to help others
- What Arkansas House Bill 1309 does to make early cancer detection more affordable
- How faith guided the Roses through uncertainty and inspired their public service
- Practical encouragement for families walking through a cancer diagnosis
