Truth Exposed: The Connections Between Pornography and Pediatric Sexual Assault, hosted by Joseph Kohm with guest Heidi Olson

January 09, 2025

On January 15, 2025, the United States Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in a case called Free Speech Coalition vs. Paxton. This case will determine the fate of 19 state laws protecting children from access to online pornography through mandatory age verification requirements.

Most children are first exposed to pornography when they are somewhere between seven and 13 years old, and by the time they are 18, most of them have seen it. This case is historic but for far more than just this reason.

Pornography is the marketing arm of the sexual revolution. The Supreme Court could rule in June that states have the right and duty to protect children from the harms of pornography. Such a ruling would unseat the ethics of the sexual revolution from its place in the minds of most people as the primary lens through which they think about and engage in physical intimacy.

In this series, we will explore the broken promises and heartbreaking results of the sexual revolution, primarily through the internet, and thereby gain a better understanding of just how much is at stake in this historic case.

In this episode, Joseph Kohm, the Policy Director at Family Policy Alliance, deals with the intersection of pornography and pediatric sexual assault. He is joined by Heidi Olson. Heidi is a registered nurse and the founder and President of Paradigm Shift Training and Consulting, which equips healthcare workers with skills-based training to identify human trafficking and exploitation.
