Lew continues to make observations in the wake of the Kirk assassination.

Beware of the same kind of mass psychology that developed around the JFK assassination, where America was sold much bigger government, and the uber-corrupt LBJ, along with a narrative of the killing that led to generational cynicism.

Today, as then, many more people than normal are “paying attention,” but they are not exceptionally vulnerable to emotional manipulation? We need to roll up our nation’s enemies but avoid too broad of an assault on social media, the information lifeline for patriots. Pam Bondi’s ill-conceived suggestion regarding “hate speech” must be avoided. If it isn’t we will end up where Western Europe is: total government suppression of nationalists trying to save their countries from invasion and their cultures from replacement.

And speaking of those who would like muscular hate speech laws: there is the Zionist community. And was the largest student organization in America about to turn on the state of Israel? Did Kirk refuse large donations and the strings attached from pro-Israel donors only to have his successors accept a huge one this week from Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire?

We really do need to know.
