J.R. U.S. elites have obviously been involved in laundering the money, and various CIA assets have been compromised by the Communists over the years to do their bidding. In fact, using the Opium Wars as a model, both the former USSR, the current Putin-led Russia, and China have successfully 1) made a lot money selling drugs; 2) weakened the U.S. populace through the use of debilitating drugs including heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl; and 3) corrupted U.S. institutions and elites, making them susceptible to blackmail to further do the bidding of the overseas communists.
