Ol’ School vs. New School Travel on Holland America Cruise Line
Ol’ School vs. New School Travel; it was time to put the debate to the test. Nichole and I set sail on Holland America’s new ship, the Nieuw Statendam. It’s the one where Oprah is the Godmother. Nichole and I through the years have talked about the possible differences of how generations travel, comparing what we like and also things we are not so fond of. But now onboard the ship we had seven days to give it a try, to put theories to the test on a fantastic voyage.
Ol’ school vs. new school ways of travel…. Is there a difference or not.
Take a listen to the show and you’ll hear what was different and what was very similar. Maybe there is a lot more of the individual person’s travel style and not so much about the generations. And, Holland America, as you probably know from previous shows, is one of my favorite cruise lines. I’m always ready to jump onboard and set sail. On this trip, Nichole and I hop on board in Boston on their New England to Canada routing where we disembark in Quebec. And, we finally had answers to our age-old question “is there a difference between Ol’ School and New School travel?”
Here are some photos from the trip.
The food onboard is delicious!
