There, under coach Rollie Geiger, he achieved personal bests and competed in the NCAA Cross Country Championship four times.

Parsons' professional career took a significant turn when he decided to continue his track career in Germany, his mother’s native country, and later signing with Adidas. Co-founding the Tinman Elite team and achieving personal bests under the guidance of Tom "Tinman" Schwartz, Parsons' career is a testament to his evolving legacy in distance running.
