Quadruple OT Thriller! – This DiSH for Jan. 29

January 29, 2024

In 1980, the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers played a 4OT marathon. Interestingly, not a single 3-pointer was made.

In 1936, the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame announced its first class.

In 1963, the NFL Hall of Fame announced its first class.

And in 1995, Deion Sanders played with the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl, becoming the first and only athlete to play in both the Super Bowl and the World Series.  He was with the Atlanta Braves in 1992 when they played in the W.S.
