Definition of meek:
enduring injury with patience and without resentment :
Don’t you dare let anybody steal your joy. Your joy is that peace that allows you to stand still while the world around you runs around in useless panic.
Just because that person baited you with some tarter sauce to upset you, doesn’t mean you have to take the bait. No you don’t have to curse them out. You can choose to remain at peace even though you have been insulted.
The strongest person is the one that in spite of what you say, whatever shade you try a shoot them, they remain composed and at peace. Do you know how much strength it takes to not snap when insulted?
The dictionary defines meek as:
"enduring injury with patience and without resentment"
I have heard people string together some interesting adjectives while cursing a "tigger" out. Sheer poetry in cursing one might say. I said Tigger, you know Winnie the Pooh’s friend? Always bouncing upsetting piglet and Pooh. But it’s just a distraction and it’s purpose is simple, steal your joy, change your posture so you miss another blessing.
Why will the meek inherit the earth, because they are strong enough to hold their tongue without resentment. They know that God will handle every matter, and therefore won’t allow "tiggers" to still their joy.
This is TrisNoH reminding you that there is nothing so deep that you should allow it to steal your joy.
Keep your mind focused on God’s perfect peace and where He is taking you in His purpose for you life.
Peace
