Worship is the priority we place on WHO God is in our lives and where God is on our list of priorities. I recently received an email from a lady saying she doesn’t know what to do, she hates her church but wants to be closer to God.
I said God, not the church or the pastor but God and that is the most important relationship you can have. You must also know that the time you spend in church, how many usher boards you are on, how many choirs you belong to, how many times you are assigned to bring the pastor the water adds no extra points in the book. Nor does doing all of those things proof that you even believe in God.
Going to church is not a requirement for being a Christian.
Your relationship with God is a moment by moment love affair.
