The 2 Minute Word
Just Pass the Test
Jeremiah 29:11 GNB
Joseph had a life full of tests. Thrown into a pit by his brothers…… would he trust God?
No longer a Sheppard but forced into slavery… would he trust God?
Innocent of a crime and yet imprisoned… would he still trust God?
Forgotten in the darkest part of the jail…. Really, really are you still going to trust God?
Joseph had everything stripped from him, but he continued to trust God.
I can almost hear him sobbing in the pit, in the shackles, in the prison “I trust you Father” I can imagine him saying over and over again, I trust you!
He did not know God’s plan for his life, and yes he was uncomfortable, confused, and afraid in the darkness that surrounded him trial after trial. But he forced his mind to line up with his heart and trusted God.
We do not know the path that God will take, to get us to the place he established for our lives, before we were ever born. All that we do know is that, God is never late. Never.
At the appointed time just as in the life of Joseph you will step into the place. But get ready because just like with Joseph, God won’t just release you saying, “ok you are free go figure out your life”. No baby
At the end of Josephs test, when God brought Joseph out, he was the second most powerful man in the land, second unto the pharaoh himself.
So, keep passing your test fam, doing what is right, trusting God, even if you have to cry yourself to sleep at night. Through those tears keep announcing to the enemy that “I trust God”.
This is Tris No H telling you all is well and consider the hard times as nothing more than a test, as you Trust God.
Peace
