Dr. Christopher Adams talks about growing up bicultural and how this drew him to learn about the immigrant experience. This ultimately led him to pursue a degree in which he could learn to both understand and help those having a challenging time in the US education system, especially on the US border with Mexico. Dr. Adams talks about teaching students with trauma, mental health struggles, and how his music he plays for the homeless community gives him connection.
